Personal Journey

It is my pride to be the daughter of an Air Force officer. Basically, I born in Gwalior, MP, and brought up in several states over the years. I experienced a diverse upbringing. The constant change meant I attended five different schools in just twelve years, which helped me develop adaptability and resilience early on. My mother instilled in us the value of discipline, teaching us its importance in every aspect of life.

These experiences, alongside my father's dedication to his service, significantly shaped my character and fueled my aspirations in my professional journey.These experiences not only shaped my character but also sparked my interest in business development, where adaptability and strong relationships are key. My father’s dedication to his service inspired me to pursue a career where I could make a meaningful impact and drive growth in the industry.

Professional Path

Desapex marks the beginning of my professional journey, which I embarked on in 2022. Starting as an executive, I was eager to learn and grow within the company. Over time, I’ve gained invaluable knowledge and confidence, which propelled me into my current managerial position. Throughout my time here, I’ve achieved several milestones that highlight my growth and commitment to the role. Joining Desapex was a pivotal step in my career, and I am proud of the progress I’ve made and the impact I continue to have in our team.

Role at Desapex

As the Business Development Manager at Desapex, I am responsible for identifying and nurturing new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and enhancing client relationships. Initially focused on the Indian market, I have recently expanded my role to include the European market, marking a significant milestone in my career. This broader responsibility has allowed me to contribute to several impactful projects, including data centers, retail spaces, real estate developments, chemical manufacturing facilities, and hospitals. My efforts on these projects have led to increased market reach and strengthened global client relationships. My day at Desapex typically begins with a morning routine of reviewing my agenda and setting priorities. I start by checking emails and messages to address any urgent issues and get updated on ongoing projects. I also spend some time reading the news and staying updated on industry trends to ensure I’m aware of the latest developments. I also focus on lead generation, which involves identifying and reaching out to potential clients.

From the afternoon to the evening, I concentrate on meetings, client calls and Linkedin activities. This is when I connect with clients to discuss project progress, address their needs, and align on objectives. I also have regular interactions with my team and take care of my intern’s growth and development, ensuring they’re learning and contributing effectively.

Balancing work and personal life is important to me. I make sure to take regular breaks into my routine to stay energized. Setting clear boundaries between work and personal time helps me maintain a healthy work-life balance and stay focused throughout the day.
