On August 8th, 2024, Desapex Engineering Consultants LLP was delighted to have a presence at an exclusive workshop hosted by Zoho People at the Sterling M.A.C Hotel. Our respected HR expert, Mrs. Bhat Chaitra Sudhir, participated in the event alongside HR leaders from numerous organizations.

The workshop presented Zoho People 5.0, the newest version of their HR software, highlighting updates designed to streamline HR operations and enhance user experiences. Since Desapex prioritizes employee management and development, this event was a valuable opportunity to investigate advanced solutions that align with our dedication to operational excellence.

Zoho People 5.0 introduced a unified services interface, providing a consolidated space for employee-focused actions like leave applications and self-reviews. Mrs. Chaitra found this redesign particularly promising for its potential to simplify HR workflows at Desapex. The enhanced automation and customization capabilities, available via a new "Automation" tab, were also of notable interest, offering the possibility of more tailored HR processes.

The workshop emphasized several major updates, including a revamp of the Leave Management System and the separation of Attendance and Shift Management modules, which provide greater flexibility in managing HR services. The integration of new tools into the Learning Management System (LMS) and the expansion of employee engagement features aligned with Desapex's ongoing efforts to promote a supportive and engaging work environment.
